PREPARATION FOR THE AFRICA HOTEL INVESTMENT FORUM GO INTO HIGH GEAR

The Africa Hotel Investment Forum this year returns to Nairobi / Kenya, hot on the heels of the annual Magical Kenya Travel Expo. The event was initially launched in Kenya before visiting Addis Ababa twice followed by making appearances in Kigali over the past two years. While in Kigali did sister event AviaDev launch before the two decided to divide and conquer, with AviaDev2018 presently underway in Cape Town but Matthew Weihs, Managing Director of Bench Events, also present here.
In fact it was him who spoke with www.ATCNews.org in length yesterday, giving updates on the state of preparation and venue readiness.
AHIF has the full backing of Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife and in particular from Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, who was tourism minister when AHIF launched the event several years ago and was throwing his ministry’s weight behind the event when Nairobi was announced as the 2018 venue.
