FIVE FLIGHTS A WEEK BETWEEN BRUSSELS AND ENTEBBE DRAW IN MORE PASSENGERS

Star Alliance member Brussels Airlines, soon to be owned 100 percent by the Lufthansa Group, has reported a rise in passenger numbers by 8.2 percent for the month of September.
The airline flies five times a week from Brussels to Entebbe and then on to Kigali before returning to Brussels, where a growing number of connections into Europe including the Schengen countries, offers passengers a swift onward ride.
North American destinations include Toronto since earlier this year but also New York and Washington while Mumbai flights will launch in the second quarter of 2017 after another Airbus A330 joins the fleet to facilitate further growth.
In West Africa Brussels Airlines for many passengers is the airline of choice as it remains the number one European carrier vis a vis connectivity into Africa.
Ugandan and Rwandan tourism operators can also look forward to special considerations again when heading to the World Travel Market in London later this year as the Kampala office of the airline confirmed to this correspondent, to make tickets for promotional and marketing trips affordable for the tourism fraternity.
