On 15 February Brussels Airlines turned 15
… which is why they want to thank you and all their passengers for your continued trust! And to really put their 15th anniversary in the spotlights, they transformed the airport especially for the sequel to the famous Mr. Smith video. Want to see the result?

On top of that, Brussels Airlines will be spending the rest of the year looking for superheroes who deserve the ultimate extra smile. So if you know anybody who has devoted themselves to helping others, let us know and we may well find a way to reward them!

Brussels Airport has a heart for passengers
Especially for Valentine’s Day, Brussels Airport spoils its passengers with the best Belgium has to offer: Brussels waffles and Belgian chocolate. A token of gratitude for their continuing to choose Brussels Airport.

4000 waffles in all were handed out in the departure hall at Brussels Airport. With the help of employees from the various companies active at Brussels Airport. With thanks to: Brussels Airlines, TUI fly, Autogrill, ICTS, Axxicom, Iberia, IDF and Aviapartner.

Passengers either in transit or arriving at Brussels Airport were also treated to around 25,000 heart-shaped chocolates.

Showing just how much of a heart we have for our passengers and how much we look forward to welcoming them back for their next flight.

Taking a hoverboard or e-cigarette on board?
E-cigarettes and hoverboards, along with other devices that run on lithium batteries, are considered dangerous goods. The majority of these devices may not be transported in the luggage hold of an aircraft. We therefore advise you to check your airline’s policy regarding dangerous items before your flight.

Tour of Flanders
This celebrated road race for professional cyclists has been a highlight of the Belgian cycling calendar for many years. Did you know that the first edition was in fact held in 1913 and that it is often referred to as “Flanders’ Finest”?
DeRondevanVlaanderen.110941.121315.png This year, the race will get underway in Antwerp and will once again include the not-to-be-underestimated “Muur” (or “wall”) of Geraardsbergen. The return of the Muur to the race route will be celebrated in Geraardsbergen with a major folk festival. Definitely worth marking 2 April 2017 in your diary, in other words!
