Burundi tourism stakeholders unite to repaint the national tourism office

NATIONAL TOURISM OFFICE GETS NEW COAT OF PAINT

(Posted 23rd August 2014)

There will be a party of sorts at the Burundi National Tourism Office this weekend, when renovating the premises and giving them a new coat of paint is the main objective besides having the tourism industry and stakeholders come together and turn work into a grand party.

Said Carmen Nibigira, CEO of Burundi Tourism, on the BNTO website: ‘The goal: restore color to our National Tourist Office (NTO) of Burundi . All volunteers are welcome to lend a brush music in a festive atmosphere. Tourism is a promising sector for Burundi. Unite to give it colour. Hoping to see you and thanking you in advance’.

From the enthusiasm of the tourism fraternity it is clear that it was certainly not budget considerations which made the BNTO look for volunteer labour but rather more to create an event this Saturday bringing the tourism trade together and then celebrating the achievement of having the offices sparkle in new colours besides being able to claim ‘ownership’.
