A Cessna Skywagon A185F, registered in Kenya as 5Y-DHS, crashed earlier today in Tsavo National Park. The aircraft according to records seen online, belongs to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

One of the occupants was well known conservationist Mark Jenkins, leaving the conservtion fraternity to mourn yet another of their fallen fellows this year.

The aircraft was according to reports received flying low to drive cattle out of the park and crashed from low altitude.
