Brussels Airlines will effective this summer schedule begin to serve 119 destinations in Europe, Africa, North America, India and Israel, signalling unprecedented growth for the Belgian flag carrier, now owned 100 percent by the Germany’s Lufthansa Group.

The company today has more than 3.500 employees and 51 aircraft operating over 300 daily flights, connecting the Capital of Europe to 90 premium European destinations, 24 African destinations, 3 North American destinations and Tel Aviv and Mumbai. In Eastern Africa does the airline now fly daily to Uganda with six flights per week routing via Rwanda and one routing via Burundi.

On long haul flights, operated with Airbus A330-200 and A330-300, the airline offers a Business Class with the famous single ‘King Seat‘ offering full flatbed recline and state of the art inflight entertainment, an Economy Class with ergonomic seats and individual inflight entertainment on touchscreens, and an Economy Privilege option with generous leg space and more seat recline.

On its European routes Brussels Airlines offers the choice between Bizz&Class, Flex&Fast, Light&Relax and Check&Go.
In addition to its destinations in Africa, North America and India, Brussels Airlines and its intercontinental partners also offer long-haul codeshare flights to the United Arab Emirates, Japan and Thailand.

At the end of the year, the plans remain unchanged, will the airline begin to phase in new Airbus A330’s as the leases on the existing long haul fleet come to an end and it is widely expected that a completely new cabin layout for the three classes will be revealed as and when the final decisions have been made by the newly announced top management team.
