#ColobusConservation – Playing Golf for Charity

(Posted 01st July 2022)

Our 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament is much bigger and better this time around; the golf is endless all weekend; running from Saturday the 2nd of July at the Leisure Lodge Golf Club and Sunday the 3rd of July at Nomads Beach Bar and Restaurant.

This event will be raising funds for the refurbishment of our rescue and rehabilitation facilities which include; the veterinary clinic and rehabilitation enclosures. Through time, our facilities have experienced extreme wear and tear and urgently need revamping. In addition, we need to upgrade our facilities with new veterinary equipment to ensure we maintain the quality of the rescue, care, and rehabilitation services we offer for local wildlife.

Join in on the fun…Come compete against professionals and amateurs alike in a spirited, fun-filled game and navigate 18 holes on the first day at the pristine Leisure Lodge Golf Club, Stableford competition, WHS handicap required, and on the second-day play 9 holes on soft, powdery sand. Awesome tournament prizes for our adult and kids tournament winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Spectators are welcome to cheer our golfers on and enjoy the weekend as well as a selection of stalls by our local vendors. We would like to appreciate the event sponsors we couldn’t have made it this far without their support.
