Bwindi Bar wins PURE Community Engagement Award for 2016!
We are excited to announce that Bwindi Bar has won the PURE Community Engagement Award for 2016!

This could be the world’s first bar to win a community award!

Congratulations to Bwindi Bar.
Bwindi Bar received this recognition for training local disadvantaged youths in cooking, catering, how to serve guests, follow hygiene rules as part of training in hospitality.
Mariana, the Manager of Bwindi Bar, received the award.

Bwindi Bar is a self-sustainable project set up by Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust in 2015. It is situated in the Main Street of Buhoma village, adjacent to Volcanoes’ Bwindi Lodge and 1km from the entrance to Bwindi National Park.
