Court defeat may see Fly540 CEO’s Malindi property auctioned off

Information is emerging in the Kenyan media that Fly 540 CEO and shareholder Donald Smith and fellow shareholder Ms. Sonal Smith lost a court case, in which they sought to have an impending auction of their property in Malindi permanently halted.

According to information received from Nairobi are William Auctioneers now able to auction the property over a debt of KShs 678.7 million following the ruling by Justice James Olola of the Kenyan Environment and Land Court.

It is presently not known if the ruling will be appealed to a higher court or if not, when the auction will go ahead.
