Not only will you meet all the major outbound tour operators in Czech Republic , Poland and Hungary but we will also be inviting (and hosting) select buyers from other emerging markets for Africa – specifically Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia ,Romania, Croatia, Ukraine (though they might be small markets currently they are all growing economically and are good potential new business for you -who of you would have predicted 4 years ago that Polish visitors to Africa would outstrip Russians !!)
I believe this new initiative will add a lot of value to the Spotlight workshop and hopefully create some new business for exhibitors

Houston Travel Marketing Services have teamed up with Paddington Tucker of Travel Advance based in Prague to jointly run these workshops. Travel Advance will look after the logistics of the workshops and arrange all the advertising with the Trade press and have extensive databases of the trade in all three countries to whom they will send invitations.

It is interesting to note that for the period Jan-June 2015 6772 Polish tourists visited South Africa (a 20% increase). For the same period only 3208 Russians visited South Africa – a 43% decline!

It is also important from the trade visitor’s perspective to have the widest possible number of Africa/Indian Ocean Islands countries represented. This is why I try to balance the number of exhibitors from each country and place a restriction on the number of DMC’s to a maximum of two per country and four companies per country – First Come First Served!!!
