The International Labour Day is celebrsted every year on the 1st May. It is the celebration of everyone working to keep moving forward in search of a better life for themselves and for their family.
As I say Happy Labour Day to everyone. Let me also ask for a moment of reflection in the middle of the celebrations.
As a tourism consultant and a former Minister of Tourism I can speak for a those who depend on a healthy and succesful tourism industry for their livelyhood. Tourism is their industry and tourism is not an activity that some can jump in and out when they wish. We need to keep rallying energy and time to make tourism work in our respective countries and on the International arena.
