The 2023 edition of the Ekkula Sustainable Tourism Awards will take place this coming Friday, 24th of November, at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Nominees had been released to the public for voting purposes in a number of categories and the result will be published here soon after the winners had been announced.
Among the categories listed was one to crown East Africa’s leading tourism destination for the year with nominees coming from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
Another winner category will be the East African Tourism Event of the year.
Other categories involve cultural events, associations, safari lodges, touring companies and individuals.
