With September bringing children back to school in many countries, here in Kenya the Wildlife Warriors are sitting down for their scholarship examinations. Over the next week or two, members of our Wildlife Warrior Clubs will be taking the examination, hoping to demonstrate how much conservation knowledge they have gained from club activities.

The top students in each school will be awarded a 75% scholarship for the four year duration of their secondary education. We wish all the children luck! For more information about the Wildlife Warrior Program click here.

We would love to expand our program and bring more scholars into the program in 2018. If you would like to help us reach more of these bright young conservationists, you can sponsor a child today! Simply contact us for more information, or donate through our website here.

"I was born and raised in Kenya, with much of my childhood running along the sandy white beaches of Kilifi. When we moved back to Nairobi I went to school at the Banda then Hillcrest before leaving to complete my A Levels and University in the United Kingdom, where I graduated with a BA Hons (2:1) in Hospitality Management.

I have over 15 years’ experience, a career that started in the Travel Industry with A&K and then moved into Advertising, Branding and Marketing, working on some of the biggest brands, such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, Barclays and more recently Safaricom. Another aspect of my life includes conservation and the preservation of wildlife, not only in Kenya but globally. I am looking forward to a new chapter combining my knowledge and experience over the years to grow the Elewana Collection as a brand and market the best of Kenya and Tanzania to all those who love beautiful places."

We want to extend a very warm welcome to our new Marketing Manager Alia Bellamy…

Best wishes,

~ The Elewana Team
