Ethiopian Airlines has officially launched direct passenger flights between Addis Ababa and Mauritius, with three weekly services now in operation. Mauritius becomes the airline’s 41st destination country in Africa, enhancing connectivity through Ethiopian Airlines’ global network of over 125 destinations.
The new route is expected to boost tourism, trade, investment and business exchanges between Mauritius, Africa and international markets, while supporting regional integration under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The service also strengthens Mauritius’ position as a strategic gateway between the African continent and the Indian Ocean region.
