Ethiopian returns to Conakry

CONAKRY TO BECOME ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES’ 54TH AFRICAN DESTINATION

Ethiopian Airlines has confirmed that flights to Conakry / Guinea will resume on the 01st of February next year, with initially five weekly services, operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday out of Addis Ababa and the following day returning from Conakry. Ethiopian will use a Boeing B787-800 on the route.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to provide our customers a new choice of fast and efficient connectivity via our Addis Ababa gateway to and from our global network together with a multiple award winning customer service and care. Charting a route that joins Africa, East to West and North to South, Ethiopian is greatly contributing to the economic, tourism, and trade development of the African continent. We are proud to add Conakry among our West African destinations and further deepen our African route network. Conakry will be our 54th African and 96th international destination‘ said Ethiopian’s CEO Mr. Tewolde Gebremariam when making the announcement.
Conakry is also served by Ethiopian’s partner airline ASKY out of Lome, offering a range of connections both further into West Africa and via Addis Ababa into the global network of Ethiopian Airlines.
