Exciting changes at Serena Mountain Lodge

SERENA HOTELS INTRODUCES THE ‘KIDS CLUB‘ AT MOUNTAIN LODGE

(Posted 24th May 2017)

Who says grown-ups get to have all the fun? Kids need a place where they can have an adventure that’s exclusively theirs and if the kids are enjoying their holiday, so will of course the parents.

It is with this in mind that Serena Mountain Lodge is happy to introduce the Serena Kids Club which the lodge believes will greatly improve the guest experience as they endeavor to become more family friendly.

This is in line with the recent revision of the child policy at both Serena Mountain Lodge and Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp to allow children from the age of 3 years and above.

The Serena Kids Club is a kid-friendly hangout space where little tots can play, learn and explore. The space also allows for parents to bond with their children. The kids club has all the games, crafts, and happenings your little one could hope for. It is also in a fully supervised atmosphere with our friendly, well-trained staff dedicated to spending time with your children so you have some quality time to relax and unwind.

At Serena Mountain Lodge, a room has been remodeled to comfortably accommodate up to 10 children at a time. The décor is inspired by safari adventure evidenced by the fun and colorful animal decals on the walls whilst still maintaining its unique tree hotel style. It also features a big strong glass window that allows the children to have unobstructed views of the wildlife as they come to the waterhole.

The room is equipped with a crafts table, a game of mini golf, a mini basketball hoop, a magnetic darts board (to protect the children from any risk of injury), puzzles, toys, chalkboards, a hip hop mixer and a television with DVD for screening children’s movies and programs.

So plan for a family holiday assured that your children will have a wonderful time and you will have your time too!

And a final word of advice, when at Serena Mountain Lodge, do plant a tree and have your kids do the same to learn about the importance of keeping Kenya’s forests intact.
