‘Fare Lock’ signals better services for passengers of this LCC carrier

JAMBOJET GIVES TRAVELERS A 24 HOUR FARE LOCK OPTION

(Posted 05th August 2016)

Kenya’s leading low cost carrier, Kenya Airways subsidiary Jambojet, has incorporated a new booking deal following many requests from potential travelers to hold their fare, and booking, for at least 24 hours.
This will give those travelers without credit or debit cards the option to book on line, secure their seat and fare and then visit a sales outlet and pay.
The new service, available with immediate effect at a cost of 500 Kenya Shillings, is available for all flights leaving five and more days after the booking date.
However, if a traveler then changes her or his mind, will the booking fee be lost.
Jambojet just raised its game last week by signing a major code share deal with parent company Kenya Airways, which now allows international passengers arriving in Nairobi on the national airline to book their onward flights to such places like Lamu, Malindi and Ukunda / Diani, but also to Eldoret, on one ticket with full acceptance of the international terms and conditions of passage under a Kenya Airways flight.
Lamu is now served twice a day out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while Malindi flights operate 17 times a week, giving coast tourism a boost through better connectivity. Lamu, Malindi, Ukunda / Diani and Eldoret flights use a Bombardier Q400NG.
