Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced an extension to the Airbus A320 operation within its Flying Programme, with the service now continuing through to the end of October 2026. The decision follows a sustained increase in demand since the introduction of A320 operations in early August. This announcement coincides with the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbabwe Tourism Expo in Masvingo from 09th to 12th of September 2026, which the airline will be attending.
The Airbus A320 joined the fastjet Zimbabwe fleet on 1 August 2026, deployed in support of the airline’s Flying Programme during the peak travel months of August and September, servicing the high-demand routes of Victoria Falls to Johannesburg and Harare to Johannesburg. Building on the strength of this performance, the aircraft will not only continue operating until the end of October, but it will also return to service during the December festive period to provide additional capacity for customers travelling over the peak season.
fastjet Zimbabwe Business CEO and Country Head, Donahue Cortes, said, “The Airbus A320 service continues to resonate deeply with our customers, and we are proud to see sustained growth in demand from both business and leisure travellers alike. Our new Business Premium product has been particularly well received, appealing not only to our corporate travellers but also to leisure customers who value the added benefits it brings, from generous luggage allowances and dedicated ground services to a thoughtfully elevated inflight experience. This extension allows us to ensure sufficient capacity during the month of October and the peak December festive period. It reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering the standard of service our customers have come to expect from fastjet Zimbabwe,”

Bookings on are available on the airline’s website fastjet.com, airline ticket sales offices, travel agents and other booking platforms.
