(Posted 19th August 2016)

Africa’s leading low cost airline Fastjet and Amadeus, the global market leader in e-technology for airlines, travel agencies, the hospitality industry and more, have signed a landmark deal earlier this week.
The new cooperation agreement will give Amadeus users across Africa and beyond access to the airline’s schedules, fares and other services at the click of a button, or two, and definitely making bookings much easier for the benefit of passengers and agencies alike.
While Fastjet Kenya is still working to attain the all important Air Operator Certificate, in short AOC, to commence operations, do Fastjet Tanzania and Fastjet Zimbabwe fly to a number of domestic and regional destinations, including Johannesburg, Harare, Victoria Falls, Lusaka, Lilongwe, Entebbe, Nairobi, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza and Mbeya, all operated by single class Airbus A319’s.
