Fastjet Zimbabwe has confirmed that the Minister for Transport has approved new regional routes for the airline.
Among those will be a service between Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second largest city – and in September host to the country’s annual Sanganai / Hlanganani Tourism Expo – and Johannesburg, South Africa’s commercial capital.
Fastjet’s Zimbabwe Accountable Manager Ed Berry commented saying that ‘…there is much work to be done before flight operations can commence, and we can assure the public that, as a proudly Zimbabwean airline, we are excited to be able to provide these services to the people of Bulawayo, Matabeleland and Zimbabwe as a whole. We will release further information regarding this new route in due course‘.

ATCNews will report when flights will be launched, expected to be in due course given the challenges travelers at present have to fly directly from Bulawayo to Johannesburg.
