OUR FIRST EVER RURAL MAASAI WOMAN RUNNING IN THE NEW YORK MARATHON!

“In our community, traditionally women are not known to work any jobs and the job that I have here at MWCT empowers me to be more independent and provide for my family. My parents have invested in me by selling cows for me to go to school and I would like to give something back to them. I am also very proud to be a role model for my younger siblings and the women of my community. I like to work as a Ranger, as I have learned much about wildlife and I can see how wildlife benefits my community”.
