ICAO, in collaboration with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), is pleased to announce the ICAO/EASA Third Global RSOO/RAIO Forum for Aviation Safety, to be held on 29–30 September 2026 in Georgetown, Guyana.
This high-level forum will bring together representatives of Regional Safety Oversight Organizations (RSOOs), Regional Accident and Incident Investigation Organizations (RAIOs), and officials from Member States, international and regional organizations, and industry partners. Participants will engage in substantive dialogue on the role of regional cooperation in strengthening aviation safety oversight and accident and incident investigation systems worldwide.
The Forum will provide a platform to:
- Exchange experiences and good practices in regional safety oversight and accident investigation.
- Discuss emerging challenges and strategic priorities affecting RSOOs and RAIOs.
- Examine the contribution of regional mechanisms in supporting States’ safety oversight and investigation obligations.
- Identify practical measures to enhance collaboration and ensure the long-term sustainability of safety oversight and investigation frameworks.
Further information, including the programme, registration details, and logistical arrangements, will be communicated in due course through the event website.
Interested participants are kindly invited to save the date and register to attend this important global forum.
In parallel with the Forum, a dedicated exhibition will be organized with limited availability, offering industry partners a unique opportunity to showcase products, services, and technical solutions directly to senior decision-makers, regulators, and regional organizations responsible for aviation safety and investigation.
Exhibiting organizations will benefit from targeted visibility, high-level engagement, and strategic networking with key stakeholders shaping the future of regional aviation safety cooperation. Industry partners interested in exhibiting are strongly encouraged to express their interest by contacting ICAO.
