Heavy Rains Advisory Valid 11th October to 13th October

The Kenya Meteorological Services has just released the following heavy rain advisory:

"Heavy rainfall of more than 50mm is likely to occur in the evening from about 3pm today, 11th October, in some areas surrounding the South Rift Valley region and parts of Aberdares Ranges.

On Thursday, 12th October, the area under threat may extend to more areas of Western Kenya, Central Rift Valley, the Aberdares and Mt. Kenya highlands. A similar situation may be experienced on Friday 13th October but may be confined to fewer areas around Mt.Elgon. The situation may result in isolated cases of flooding".
