Luxury boutique hotel Hemingways Nairobi has been inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame for winning the Certificate of Excellence five years in a row.

The Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence honors hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service across the world. Businesses that have received a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years qualify for the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.

Hemingways Collection Group Operations Director Mr. Ross Evans said the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame award is an affirmation that Hemingways Nairobi is on the right path in offering top quality service to its visitors. “When you exceed guests’ expectations, they become advocates who come back and recommend the hotel to others,” he noted.

Hemingways Nairobi was earlier in the year feted in four categories of the 2018 Travelers’ Choice Awards, including Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Kenya; Top 25 Hotels in Kenya; Top 25 Hotels for Service in Kenya and Top 25 Hotels in Africa.

Hemingways Nairobi General Manager Richard Kimenyi said the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame award reaffirms the Collection’s brand positioning as a top luxury boutique hotel.

Today’s traveler is very discerning with high expectations and this is evidence that our guests have been happy with us and we promise to continue improving our service,” said Mr. Kimenyi.

This designation is presented to approximately 10% of total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great reviews over the past year.

The hotel is set on stunning grounds with a very colonial feel. The suites offer stunning architecture with the rooms offering a view of the Ngong Hills and your own personal butler,” one traveler said.

Mr. Evans also congratulated Kenya for topping the list in the 2018 World’s Ultimate Bucket List, by Flight Network, as a wildlife safari destination. “Topping the list is a boost to the tourism and hospitality industry in Kenya and places the country as a top destination. The fact that Kenya is the top destination of choice on the continent speaks volumes about the strength and growth potential of our tourism industry“.

The world’s ultimate bucket list, by Flight Network, is a globally recognized list showcasing the most thrilling destinations and activities from every corner of the world. It provides an annual snapshot of the opinions and experiences of the world’s top travel experts.

This year the publication polled over 800 journalists, bloggers, travel writers, agencies and editors for their top destinations and compiled the list of 50 epic experiences.

The Hemingways Collection consists of Hemingways Nairobi, Hemingways Ol Seki Mara, Hemingways Watamu and Hemingways Residences.
