We are pleased to invite aviation stakeholders to attend the ICAO EUR/NAT Regional Workshop on Aviation Training and Workforce Planning, scheduled to be held from 24 to 25 June 2026, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
This workshop, held in collaboration with JAA Training Organisation, is in alignment with ICAO’s Strategic Plan 2026–2050 and will focus on the importance of developing a competent, diverse, and future-ready aviation workforce. Under the overarching theme of “Shaping the future: Innovation & digitalisation in aviation training and the evolution of job profiles,” some of the topics that will be discussed are:
- Strengthening partnerships between training providers and industry
- Leveraging digitalisation and artificial intelligence in aviation training
- Promoting outreach initiatives to attract youth and women into aviation careers
- Preparing the workforce for emerging operational models, such as Advanced Air Mobility
