ICAO COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT
Luanda, Angola | 21 – 23 July 2026
Taking place in Luanda, Angola from 21–23 July 2026, this important summit will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and aviation professionals from around the world. Together, participants will exchange insights, share best practices, and work toward transitioning from commitments and declarations to sustainable action.
While progress has been made, women remain significantly underrepresented across technical, operational, and leadership roles—limiting the industry’s ability to fully benefit from the breadth of available talent and perspectives. This summit provides a platform to address these challenges and advance meaningful solutions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Engage in high-level discussions on women’s advancement, participation, and empowerment across regulatory, operational, and technical domains.
- Explore the policies, workforce strategies, and leadership pathways needed to drive lasting change.
- Gain insights from data, shared knowledge, and emerging tools shaping the future of aviation.
- Hear firsthand the impactful findings of the ICAO Landmark Study on Women in Global Aviation.
- Contribute to strengthening skills development, training, and career opportunities for women.
- Build stronger partnerships and collective action with global stakeholders and decision-makers.
Whether you are looking to participate, partner, or support this initiative, the summit offers a valuable platform to help shape a more inclusive, resilient, and forward-looking aviation industry.
We sincerely hope you will join us for this impactful and collaborative gathering.
Warm regards,
Miguel Marin
