KENYA’S JAMBOJET AIMS FOR 9 BOMBARDIER Q400’S BY END 2019

Just days after it was confirmed that Jambojet had ordered two more Bombardier Q400’s through a lease deal with Chorus Aviation (https://atcnews.org/2018/11/07/kenyas-jambojet-orders-more-bombardier-q400s/) due for delivery before mid 2019, did additional information emerge that the airline was in fact shopping around for two more of these aircraft.
The additional two will in fact be a slightly larger version with 82 seats compared to 78 of the aircraft already flying and should be joining the Jambojet fleet before the end of next year.
The additional two aircraft will reportedly be sourced from another leasing company and also be used to cater for the expected expansion in destinations and higher frequencies on existing routes.
