AIRPORT IN JUBA EXPECTS FLIGHTS TO RESUME IN THE MORNING

There are growing indications now that air traffic into and out of Juba’s international airport will resume in the morning, even though key airlines have yet to confirm that.
The South Sudan capital remained calm today after days of factional violence rocked the city which cost, going by some accounts, over a thousand lives.
Airlines promptly suspended operations fearing for the safety of their passengers, crews and aircraft, leaving thousands of passengers stranded, many trying to escape the fighting only to be stuck at the airport.
Once key regional airlines have formally confirmed their return to Juba, such as Kenya Airways and RwandAir, among others, will this be promptly reported here.
According to other sources in Juba has life began to normalize for people
living in Juba and even though not all shops and government offices were open today is a full resumption of business expected by Wednesday morning.
