HAPPY RETURN TO KENYA FOR KARL HALA AS HE JOINS THE OLE SERENI HOTEL

The Ole Sereni Hotel has named Mr. Karl Hala as its new Group General Manager. Mr. Hala, who was previously the Regional General Manager IHG Africa and General manager InterContinental Hotel Lagos will be responsible for all operations of the hotel which is located along the airport highway.
Before his tour of duty in Lagos was Karl stationed in Nairobi where he held the position of General Manager of the InterContinental Nairobi while also serving as Regional Manager IHG Africa for 6 years.
Ole Sereni is best known for its location which offers stunning views of the Nairobi National Park in addition to being located between Nairobi’s international and regional airports.
Ole Sereni’s Board member Mr. Nazir Noordin said when making the announcement: ‘Karl’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Ole Sereni family. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to being the leading airport hotel in our industry. I’m confident that Karl will play a key role in providing and implementing high quality solutions for our guests‘.
Karl comes with a wealth of experience within the Industry, having spent the last 35 years at InterContinental Hotel Group with 10 years handling Africa.

Karl is a graduate of Vienna Hotel School and the founder and vice president of the first American football club in Munich, Germany.
Notably is the hotel, which was launched in 2009 involved in a major expansion, doubling the capacity when construction is complete.
