The World Travel Awards Africa 2026 once again affirmed Kenya’s leading position as the country’s tourism and hospitality industry claimed a massive 25 individual awards in the country category while bagging additional honours on the continental Africa platform too. .
Serial winner Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport was once again named as Africa’s leading airport hotel while the Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort, Convention Centre and Spa claimed two of the coveted trophies.
Twiga Tours, also a seral winner, also claimed two trophies this year, both in the country category and in the continental Africa section
Pollmans Tours equally claimed two of the awards, one in the continental Africa platform and one in the country category for Kenya.
Kenya Airways surprised the audience as they claimed four awards on the continental Africa platform, leaving fancied Ethiopian Airlines trailing in their wake.
