#KenyaAirways adds #nonstop flights to #CapeTown

CAPE TOWN NOW SERVED 10 TIMES A WEEK

(Posted 07th June 2018)

Following the success of flights between Nairobi and Cape Town, until now routing via both Victoria Falls and Livingstone, had Kenya Airways yesterday launched three additional nonstop services.
Operating every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday will the airline offer leisure and business travelers – Cape Town is Africa’s leading conference city – the option of flying nonstop or else combine the journey with one sector overflying the iconic Victoria Falls which are shared between Zambia and Zimbabwe and then choosing the faster option for the other sector.
This correspondent will be traveling with Kenya Airways to Cape Town early next week for the annual #AVIADev aviation conference via Livingstone and then return on the additional nonstop flight back to Nairobi after the event, being able to render judgement on the two options.
Together with flights to Mauritius and the October launch of daily services to New York is the addition of extra flights to Cape Town seen as the first steps to increase both frequencies and destinations again after years of cuts due to massive operational losses incurred by the Kenyan national airline.
