(Posted 12th July 2020)

Jambojet has indicated that they will resume domestic flights on 15th of July to several destinations across Kenya.
Mombasa will be served out of Nairobi with initially three flights a day while Kisumu and Eldoret will both have two flights a day.
The airline also intends to fly once a day to Malindi while popular South Coast destination Ukunda will for now have four flights a week, to be increased as demand rises.

The airline has also published a short YouTube video to inform passengers on the ‘New Normal‘ of operations and what both the airline does to ensure health and safety standards are upheld and what travelers are expected to do.

It is not at this stage clear when Jambojet will resume regional flights as only Kigali / Rwanda has announced a reopening date so far while Entebbe remains closed. The Ugandan government has yet to give an indication when regional and international passenger flights can resume and what regime awaits arriving passengers in regard to quarantines or documentation needed to be allowed into the country.
