Air Kenya has confirmed that flights into the Kichwa Tembo airfield will be suspended due to ongoing heavy rains. The alternative airstrip for KICHWA TEMBO AIRSTRIP, include Mara Serena and Mara Angama and the airline requests travelers, travel agents and tour operators to liaise with the Air Kenya Reservations Desks on email.
Other airlines flying to the Masai Mara on scheduled or charter basis will no doubt put the same measure into place so it is highly advisable to check with the respective airline if booked at Kichwa Tembo camp.
