Earlier today did a LET 410 owned and operated by TRACEP-Congo Aviation, crash while enroute from Kikwit to the Congolese capital city of Kinshasa.
The aircraft was registered as 9S-GUC, MSN: 831110, Year of manufacture: 1983 and 43 years old at the time of the accident.
According to reports seen were senior Congolese army officers on board of the ill fated charter flight. There were no survivors found on site.
Congolese aviation authorities have launched an air accident investigation which will reportedly be joined by armed forces experts.
