CONDE NAST READERS LIFT 6 EXCEPTIONAL SERENA PROPERTIES INTO THE GLOBAL TOP 50
(Posted 28th October 2014)
Conde Nast’s annual Traveler Readers Awards have once again affirmed the popularity of Serena’s lodges across East Africa among the magazine’s readers, as 6, spread between Tanzania and Kenya, again made it into the global top 50 rankings. This is by any standards an outstanding accomplishment and no wonder were Serena’s PR and marketing team swift in sharing the good news.
Among the safari lodges and camps is the award winning Kirawira Serena Camp, their first ever truly luxurious safari camp which set standards for the industry ever since. From Tanzania is also the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge listed, joined by the Serena Mountain Lodge in Kenya, the Amboseli and Mara Serena Safari Lodges and, again no surprise there, the Sweetwaters Serena Safari Camp.
Serena has for years been acknowledged as East Africa’s premier hotel, resort and safari lodge company and has the widest portfolio including offering some of the wildest locations like the Selous Game Reserve where the company operates two luxury safari camps. From Kenya over Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda has the company plans to extend their presence into Burundi too, effectively covering all the five East African Community member states and notably also has a present in Mozambique’s capital of Maputo where the Grand Ol’ Dame of hotelkeeping, the Polana Hotel, has for several years been in the Serena stable.
Congratulations to the winners – after all, making it in and with Conde Nast is a quality seal of approval backed by the magazines’ discerning readers from around the world.
