INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY INTO CRASH WHICH KILLED 17 MILITARY PERSONNEL

A Kenya Air Force training mission with an MI 171E helicopter ended in tragedy earlier today, when the aircraft crashed in Kajiado county, leaving at least 17 servicemen dead while several other passengers reportedly survived the crash.
The survivors were airlifted to a Nairobi military hospital for treatment.
Condolences are extended to the families, friends and comrades of the victims of the crash.
Meanwhile, in neighbouring Ethiopia, was a military transport aircraft reportedly shot down by Tigray rebels. The aircraft in question was a Lockheed C 130E and at present are no further details available as to the number of crew and passengers on board that aircraft.
