TRAVEL MEDIA AND HOSTED BUYERS DESCEND ON #NAIROBI FOR THE MAGICAL KENYA TRAVEL EXPO
(Posted 25th September 2019)
Leading international travel media representatives as well as hosted buyers – as reported overnight already (https://atcnews.org/2019/09/24/mkte2019-ante-portas/) have now started to arrive in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.
Most of them will have the opportunity to sample two or three major attractions Kenya has to offer and it will be ‘Beach and Bush‘ for ATCNews ahead of the start of MKTE2019 proper at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi.
A visit to the famous Diani Beach, south of Mombasa will kick off the visit – after spending a night at one of Nairobi’s Radisson Blu Hotels – followed by Magical Kenya’s very best, a visit to the Masai Mara where the great migration is still in full swing as the big herds begin to slowly turn back towards the Serengeti.
ATCNews will report from on site in Diani – regularly voted as Africa’s best beach location – as well as from the Masai Mara, post pictures and short videos on our social media platforms and allow you to see what I see through the lenses of my cameras.
When MKTE2019 goes underway on the 02nd of October will updates come not just from the corridors of the main exhibition halls but also from the conference rooms where important topical presentations will be delivered, covering important topics like sustainability, going green and staying green and a range of related issues.
Meanwhile will tomorrow night – Thursday – EcoTourism Kenya hold their annual Eco Warrior Award Gala Night at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, where, as reported here, the winners will be announced from among a large group of companies, NGO’s and individuals, all of whom are already winners for the excellent work they do across Kenya day in and day out.
Watch this space for upcoming updates from one of Africa’s finest destinations and certainly one of the continent’s major tourism trade fairs.
