More Bukoba flights link this lakeside town more closely to the rest of Tanzania

AURIC ADDS MORE FLIGHTS TO BUKOBA MAKING IT THREE A DAY

(Posted 22nd November 2014)

After upping the Mwanza to Bukoba flights only two months ago to 19 a week has Auric Air yesterday announced that effective 24th of November will two more flights be added to make it three departures every day. This is a result of sustained and rising demand for these flights.

Auric, with bases in Mwanza, Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam, serves 20 domestic destinations with scheduled flights and more with charters, but also offers services via Bukoba to Entebbe, their first regional destination.

Some of the airfields Auric serves are otherwise only reached by the expensive charter flight option and details of destinations and nearby attractions can be explored when clicking on the names below, with a web page then giving detailed descriptions of the respective regions of Tanzania:

OUR DESTINATIONS:

Mwanza Sumbawanga
Bukoba Serengeti
Mbeya Iringa
Dar E Salaam Lake Manyara
Songea Rubondo Island
Zanzibar Pemba
Tanga Katavi
Ruaha Mpanda
Dodoma Mafia
Morogoro Kigoma
Masai Mara Entebbe

Operating a uniform fleet of Cessna C208B Grand Caravans under the BARS / Flight Safety Foundation Certificate, valid until 01st of June 2016, after being audited and re-certified only recently, makes Auric one of Tanzania’s safest airlines as this certification is the equivalent for small airlines of the IOSA Certification by IATA for large scheduled airlines.

Bukoba, located on the Western shores of Lake Victoria, can be reached by road but requires lengthy journeys around Lake Victoria and connecting to the rest of the country is easiest going by air and connecting in Mwanza to any of the other 19 domestic destinations the airline offers, including the political capital Dodoma and the commercial capital Dar es Salaam.
