LIZ TAPAWA MOVES FROM JACARANDA TO HILTON GARDEN INN JKIA

The brand new Hilton Garden Inn close to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – and almost directly across the new Madaraka Express Nairobi Terminus – has announced the appointment of Ms. Liz Tapawa as their Director of Sales.
Liz is no stranger to the industry having previously served in related sales positions, last as Group Sales Manager for the Jacaranda Hotels Group and prior to that as Sales Manager of the Eka Hotel.
The new Hilton Garden Inn, a franchise operation, will add much needed capacity to the hospitality scene in Nairobi, especially close to the airport where in recent months the Lazizi Premiere and the Four Points by Sheraton, both inside the airport perimeter by the way, have also opened their doors.
These hotels will cater for crew stays, accommodate passengers booked by airlines when they suffer flight delays and of course also tourists for their first night or last night stay and business travelers who prefer accommodation close to the international airport.
The new Hilton’s 175 rooms and suites offer bath tub or shower cabin options and guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi throughout the premises. A rooftop infinity pool allows for a refreshing dive with views across the Mombasa highway on one side and onto the airport from the other side.
