MORE HONOURS FOR DUSITD2 NAIROBI

Nairobi’s dusitD2, has won the Luxury Boutique Hotel of the Year for Nairobi in the Luxury Travel Guide for the second consecutive year.
Last year, the hotel was anointed the Luxury Boutique Hotel of the Year for Kenya, pointing at its consistency in high global standards, personalized customer service and variety of service offerings.
Commenting on the Award, dusitD2 Nairobi General Manager, Michael Metaxas said: ‘We are delighted that we have been recognized for giving the best customer experience. This is what we set out to achieve when we entered the Kenyan market 18months ago and we promise to maintain high standards that are only comparable to those in the developed world‘.
Boutique hotels, which are a new concept in Kenya and other African countries, began appearing in 1980s in major cities like London, New York and San Francisco, where their popularity has prompted multinational hotel companies to try and capture not just the imagination of their clientele but also wider their market share. These hotels are furnished in a themed, stylish and/or inspirational manner with key focus on personalized service, often displaying and ‘outside the regular box‘ approach by architects and designers.
The dusitD2 Nairobi Hotel had earlier also won the Best Luxury Boutique Hotel in Africa and Best Luxury Business Hotel in Kenya awards for the year 2015.
