Catch those special deals for Easter in Kenya

EXPLORING KENYA BY AIR – WITH SPECIAL EASTER EGG DEALS

(Posted 18th March 2016)

The upcoming long Easter weekend is a perfect opportunity to take a break from city life and explore the Kenyan beaches and national parks.
Special deals await – the Sarit Centre Holiday Exhibition reportedly transacted record sales this year – and now the two main domestic safari airlines have added their own spices into the menu of travel temptations.

Both Safarilink and Air Kenya will offer those who are flexible in their travel plans to both the coast or to Nairobi special fares. In the case of Air Kenya the Easter Egg Specials cost only 65 US Dollars one way all taxes included while Safarilink will offers similar deals at 70 US Dollars, again for a one way ticket, all taxes included.

The destinations are to and from Wilson Airport, valid for certain dates only, and include such coast resort areas like Lamu, Malindi, Diani and Vipingo / Kilifi.

Details can be found on the respective websites of Kenya’s two leading safari airlines and for bookings and confirmations it will be first come / first served, so there is not time better than right now to go ahead and arrange for a get away to either the coast or from there to Nairobi.

This initiative is seen as another supporting boost to the Kenya Tourism Board’s #TembeaKenya promotion which focuses on increasing domestic and regional travel, not just for Easter but across the year. While Kenya’s beach resorts have reported strong bookings for Easter are rooms still to be found in many places along the coast, especially in Lamu, Malindi, Watamu, Kilifi and Diani.
