ZANTEL LAUNCHES NEW TANZANIA APP

Zantel has reportedly launched a new mobile app for Android giving visitors and locals both the opportunity to get information about restaurants, hotels, attractions and visitor hot spots but also details about embassy locations and contacts, shopping venues night clubs and casinos.
The new app, available on Google Play Store at a cost of 500 Tanzania Shillings has been described as one of its kind and a must have for regular visitors to Dar es Salaam as it gives a comprehensive overview, constantly updated, unlike printed guide booklets now in circulation.
Zantel sim cards are available through the company’s service outlets and from authorized dealers and like elsewhere in Eastern Africa need to be registered by users before getting activated.
