IUCN Green Listing |
Ol Pejeta was one of only two wildlife conservancies in Africa to be awarded the honor of being listed on the IUCN Green List of Protected Areas in 2014. |

Solar is the way forward |
Many schools and homesteads around Ol Pejeta have been lit up by solar power in the past year, paving the way for more sustainable energy use. |

New Branding |
We got ourselves a funky new look! New graphics, new logo, and a face lift for our main entrance, which now has a shop too! Watch out for the new Ol Pejeta website coming soon. |

Boran cattle on display |
Boran breeders, inspector’s stock handlers, trade sponsors and industry experts from all over the continent gathered in Ol Pejeta in July for the annual Boran Bull Sale. |

New online giving and adoption center |
We launched our online giving and adoption centre, where you can adopt a chimpanzee, a rhino, or sponsor a child to go to school! |

Mobile Clinic |
Ol Pejeta’s Community Development Team partnered with the Laikipia County Government to bring the first mobile clinic to remote communities. |

Back to the wild |
Hand-reared black rhinos Lola and Nabul were released into the wild the last week of December. |
