Today marks a significant step forward in our mission to create a greener and healthier future for Kilifi County! We began planting our second fruit orchard at Kakuyuni Boys High School, where 240 fruit trees found their new home. This effort is part of our goal to plant 6,000 trees this month, with additional planting activities planned in Magarini.
The orchard initiative aims to not only combat climate change but also enhance food security and nutrition for the students. By planting fruit trees, we are providing a sustainable source of food while fostering a sense of environmental stewardship among the youth.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making this day a success. Together, we are calling back the rains and sowing seeds of change for future generations.
