Only 2 weeks left …….

Each two years, the AviAssist Foundation singles out an individual, organizations or a team that has made an especially outstanding contributions to safety improvement in Africa and award the African aviator award.

For the 2014 edition, the award is dedicated to airport professionals in co-operation with Airport Council International.

Of course, the Foundation knows that every day, thousands of professionals in Africa contribute to making commercial aviation the safest form of transportation. They do so not because they expect special recognition. They think safety and act in ways that promote safety because they know the aviation industry depends on it, and because it is the right thing to do. But the AviAssist Foundation cannot salute all these men and women individually, although it pays tribute to them through its work. So the African Aviator Award is our way of encouraging professionalism in Africa and our way of building appreciation of that professionalism in and outside Africa.

No airport safety champions in Africa – really…….?

Kindly proof the cynics wrong that there are no airport safety champions in Africa, because surely you know differently right?
Nominate a deserving professional that goes well beyond the call of duty.
