Park Inn by Radisson, Westlands celebrated its 5th anniversary that has taken place at the hotel roof top bar, the Live-Inn Restaurant.
To celebrate this day the team had crafted a special delectable menu and anniversary cocktails that mirrors the dedication and passion of delivering memorable experiences for the guests, now and for the past 5 years.
Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Mr. Najib Balala graced the occasion and stated “I am proud to see the growth of Park Inn Nairobi from its opening until now and am very pleased to join the hotel on their 5th anniversary. The event is a great milestone after the hotel was officially opened by His Excellency the President Uhuru Kenyatta five years ago. On behalf of the government and my Ministry, I congratulate the owners, management and staff for a commendable job and great wishes for future success.’
In attendance was the owner representative AMS hotels, Mr. Carsten Wappler – who was the preopening and opening General Manager and his successor General Manager Mr. Dominic Prendergast,
The guests were offered a taste of local and international buffet and a video showcase time-lapse of the
construction period, memories of staff and moments captured over the 5 years.
Mr. Prendergast followed up by saying” It is with great honor that I stand before you on this special day,
having the opportunity to thank every team member that made this journey possible, cherishing all memories and times spent here leading such a great team and iconic property to now is a humbling fulfillment and I wish the Park by Radisson Westlands many more years of success and heartfelt memories ahead. This event is a celebration of our growth, successes, challenges especially during covid, pre and post and great hope for the future.
The ceremony was crowned by a cake cutting session by the Cabinet Secretary, the hotel’s owners and the Park Inn Nairobi General Manager and team members.
