PARK INN NAIROBI WESTLANDS WELCOMES NEW GENERAL MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF SALES

The Park Inn Westlands, Nairobi, has announced the appointment of a new General Manager, Mr. Dominic Prendergast, effective immediately.
The hotel also confirmed the appointment of Mr. Aurelius Mukuna as new Director of Sales for the Westlands based hotel, leading in its category in Nairobi.
Dominic joins the Park Inn by Radisson Westlands from his previous position as General Manager at the Sandton / Johannesburg based Park Inn by Radisson but can look back at a long and distinguished career in the hospitality industry in Africa.
Aurelius’ new appointment is his first within the Radisson Hotels group but not his first in the hospitality industry, having moved over from the IHG group.
He too can look back at a decade of success in the area of sales, business development and key account management.
The hotel was officially opened by Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta in May 2017 after several weeks of a soft opening phase and quickly became a favourite with both business visitors and tourists, able to enjoy the hotel’s 4 star facilities and services at the cost of a three star hotel.
Opening General Manager Carsten Wappler in 2020 went on to work directly for the owners of the hotel, AMS Properties, paving the way for the appointment of a new GM.
