L’ARCHIPEL RESORT QUALIFIES FOR #SEYCHELLES SUSTAINABILITY LABEL

After several years of continued investments in state of the art technology and integration of green practices has the L’Archipel Hotel on Seychelles’ second largest island of Praslin passed relevant audits and been awarded the Seychelles Sustainability Label.
The installation of solar panels to tap into a renewable energy source and the change in all rooms to the most modern energy saving air conditioning units were just two steps the hotel undertook.
Straws were eliminated from use by the hotel earlier in the year already.
Some 18 hotels and resorts are presently certified by the Ministry of Tourism and L’Archipel’s certificate was handed over to General Manager Lucas d’Offay by the Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Didier Dogley.
