Precision drops Comoros, returns to Bukoba.

PRECISION FOLLOWS AURIC AIR TO LAUNCH BUKOBA FLIGHTS

(Posted 23rd September 2014)

Following the recent launch of flights from Mwanza to Bukoba by Auric Air has Precision now also announced plans to resume flights on the same route, using at ATR 42 aircraft.

At the same time has the airline announced new flights to Kigoma, also a destination served by Auric, with the two added destinations being served four times (Bukoba) and three times (Kigoma) a week respectively. Both flights will originate from Dar es Salaam and route via Mwanza.

Since the arrival of Fastjet in Tanzania has Precision Air found itself on the back foot, especially on the routes from Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjaro, Mwanza and Mbeya – flights to the latter also halted a few months ago – and has turned itself from a previously regional airline to an almost exclusively domestic airline, apart from flights to Nairobi. That trend was further affirmed when it was learned that flights to the Comoros will be suspended too effective tomorrow.
