President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today officially  opened the new Marriott Hotel in Kampala, which arrival in the Ugandan capital city has added much needed top level hospitality quality to a market which had increasingly gone stale within that segment.

Located in Nsambya, the gateway to a vibrant business and entertainment district, the hotel offers 181 contemporary rooms and suites, including elevated rooms with panoramic views of Kampala’s hills through the iconic skybridge and 96 Executive Residences which will no doubt become one of Uganda’s top addresses. .

The hotel’s restaurants feature global and local cuisine across multiple outlets and bars giving patrons the opportunity to unwind within the lobby spaces, at the pool, the Saray Spa, and fitness center.

Events can be hosted in the Kampala Grand Ballroom, Nsambiya Junior Ballroom, or a number of versatile meeting rooms.

Surrounded by  a major shopping center, the nearby American Embassy and entertainment opportunities in nearby Kabalagala and Kansanga,, the Kampala Marriott Hotel will now and for the foreseeable future be the premier choice for business and leisure clients in Uganda’s capital.

Other properties of Marriott International in and around Kampala are the Four Points by Sheraton, three Protea hotels in Kampala and Entebbe and the ‘under franchise operating’ Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
